From the Horn of Africa to the MENA region, Europe to Japan, this years program explores the creative methods filmmakers used to tell stories from around the world; using Narrative, Documentary and Animation formats, representing untold stories of refugees around the globe. In the films selected, refugees speak about loss and desperation, but also of resilience and hope. Audiences will witness the power of film to represent the experience of the displaced and dispossessed and to amplify and broadcast their voices and their reality.
